PUBLIC SCHOLARS PROJECT FELLOWS (ONSITE)

Public Scholars Project Fellows are resident researchers who work from the Newseum on a joint initiative of the Public Understanding of Religion Committee of the American Academy of Religion and of the Religious Freedom Center of the Freedom Forum Institute.

STEP 2: Please download, complete and submit the Fellowship Application Form and supporting documents detailed in the application form.

  • All fellows are resident researchers who work from the Newseum.
  • All fellowships applicants must be enrolled in and be in good standing with an accredited graduate-degree program in the U.S. and must be eligible to receive academic credit for their fellowship experience.
  • All international applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. academic institution and must qualify for a U.S. Visitor’s Visa according to requirements of the U.S. State Department.
