5 Minutes of Religious Freedom

A Web Series promoting Religious Liberty as an

Inalienable Right For People of All religions and None

What

  • 5 Minutes of Religious Freedom is a web series about how “religious freedom, liberty of conscience, is a precious, fundamental right for people of all religions and none.” – Williamsburg Charter

Who

  • The web series features religious and civil liberties leaders from around the world who represent a broad spectrum of religious and ideological perspectives.

Why

  • There is an urgent need to work together to sustain the world’s bold experiment in living with our deepest differences. In the United States, for instance, many people are misled about the constitutional role of religion in public life, confused about the meaning of church-state separation, and uncertain about the limits of free exercise of religion. The purpose of this series is to feature a diversity of perspectives about the constitutional and human rights principles that govern the relationship of religion and government, define protections for the freedom of religion or belief, and provide the civic framework for living among people of all religions and none.
